Wikipedia - Turkey Vultures
Links
Turkey Vultures are among the largst birds in this area.
They can be mistaken for hawks, if you only get a quick glimpse.

Sometimes people call a vulture a buzzard, but this is incorrect.
A buzzard is the collective name for a group of hawks.

Fortunately, Turkey Vultures don't prey on live animals and are no threat to the farm's smaller residents such as juvenile chickens, bantam chickens, or young ducklings.
